New In 2005!!!!!!!!!!!!
2005. Well what can I say? What a stinko year. Well, actually I'm just saying that because George Bush is still president and odd numbered years are always pretty boring. However, this year has actually exceeded all expectations. I had a fabulous time in Montreal with Dave, Josh, Sumi, Eve, and Nat. Also, I'm back at UMass and classes are all going well plus I graduate after this semester. So I guess 2005 may be better than one may have originally thought.

The following are my New Year's resolutions for 2005. I usually don't have resolutions, but I made an exception this time around.

1) Resolved: I will lose 50 pounds by July. Ten pounds per month is reasonable I think. Then I can show off my hot bod to everyone. lol

2) Resolved: As long as George W. Bush is President, I will not refer to the Vice President by his name. I will only refer to him as Vice President Bald Asshole. Furthermore, and this one's for real, I will never say Social Security REFORM. Instead, I will only refer to it as Social Security PRIVATIZATION.

3) Resolved: I will smoke more weed. Last semester I smoked weed all the time and I got the highest GPA I've ever gotten at UMass, 3.77. Suck on that one squares!!!!!!!

4) I will wear my hot new miu miu boots all the time. I just bought them at Louis Boston for 60% off the original retail price. Go to photobucket to see pictures, they are cool. I think anyway.

5) Finally, I really like giving money to organizations and people I support. Last year I gave $50 to the ACLU and $25 to the Ralph Nader campaign. I know that is not a lot at all, but I like that I am training myself to less selfish. Honestly, I have plenty of money and enough things. I would rather give away $70 than buy another pair of shitty, ill-fitting jeans from abercrombie.

Tomorrow I am going to see Ralph Nader speak in Cambridge. I always enjoy seeing and hearing great people in person. I have a feeling that this will be added to the list of awesome 2005 experiences. So on that note I say goodnight. I hope your 2005 is as good as mine.

My Concession Speech
So Senator Kerry, was it worth it to change your position on the death penalty? Was it worth it to vote to use military force in Iraq? Was it worth it to ignore every gay American except Mary Cheney? Integrity, integrity, integrity could have made you the president, but now you are just a big fucking loser.--Sorry I just wanted to get that off my chest.

So bad news – Bush is gonna be president for four more years. If there even will be four more years, that I do not know. Kerry will never be president, which I am pretty sad about. Although I voted for Nader and the Kerry campaign has been a big disappointment, I still have great respect for Kerry or at least for the things he has done in the past.

Good news–Bush did not win because he is a great leader or because of tax cuts or because people are happy about Iraq. He won because 22% of the people polled on election day said they voted for “moral values” (the most popular issue). Ok, there are millions of evangelical Protestants, and some conservative Catholics who voted for Bush because every week they listen to a bunch of fairytales that were written hundreds of years ago and have absolutely nothing to do with contemporary American politics, but hope is on the way. In Ohio, voters decided to outlaw same-sex marriage. This is specifically why I think Bush won Ohio and therefore, the electoral vote. (However, he may have won because the CEO of Diebold, the company that made the Ohio voting machines that have no paper trail promised to “help deliver Ohio to the President.”–but I don’t want to be that cynical) This means that gay marriage, something that nobody wants to touch is the big issue of the next four years. Bush has a mandate from the electorate, but it is not to invade countries or lower taxes-its to oppress gays. This means that my thesis will be even more relevant and that I have a new mission. I want to go to churches in the south and midwest and protest every Sunday and inform these retards just how idiotic they are. I want to rip the bible up in front of their stupid monkey faces and spit on their crucifixes. And I’ll even rip a few yarmulkas off of people’s heads just for good measure. Full national gay marriage rights is an inevitability. How long it will take is not certain, but the younger generation is much more tolerant of gays than older people. Also, I think abortion is pretty safe. If Roe v Wade is overturned, I think it will be reaffirmed later on. The potential GOP candidates in 2008 (Pataki, Giulianni) are economic conservatives, but social moderates, except Shit Romney who will hopefully be taken care of by us Massachusetts liberals in two years. I think this means that this huge turnout in evangelical screwballs is much less likely in 08. That combined with the 19% approval rating Bush will have after he fucks up the country should pave the way for President Communist in 2008. This just may be the incoherent ramblings of some idiot, but I like to be optimistic. This is America, land of the free and home of the brave. I for one am not afraid of a prick like George Bush.
